Chat without SIM.
Most chatting services (viber, whatsapp, telegram, signal) require SIM. In the age of internet this is absurd. From the first era of internet one great protocol was ready: XMPP. It's like an email. You have an address like XXX@yyy.com and you can communicate with everyone even with other server - like the e-mail - in contrast with other chat programs like Viber and WhatsApp.
On android I tested c0nnect pro and it even manages to phone call another XMPP client on iOS monal which is Open Source.
