You need to setup a MySQL database. Remember to disable the command --skip-networking from the Slackware start-up script ;) Also chmod mysql.mysql -r /var/lib/mysql/ and create a database mythconverg with appropriete user and password. This is xawtv-4pre. You probably don't need this compile unless you have the Hauppauge WinTV2 tv card with hardware decoder. The xawtv depends with libmpeg2. Based on script from Slackbuilds.org and modified to work. Be aware I have DISABLED the dvb functionallity (i don't need this yet) SlackBuild included |
