Maybe a bug exists in Pentium 3 Speed Step proccessor (or in compilers?) and the new Pentium M in wich latest lame (fully optimized 3.97) is VERY slower (3 times slower) compared to fully optimized 3.96. So maybe you prefer this. Optimized with option --enable-expopt=norm (mmx, sse). |
